A week-long art exhibition showcasing the work of local artists got underway in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (August 5th).
The annual show is being held at Burnham’s Community Centre in Berrow Road from August 5-12th and is open from 10am-5pm each day.
Now in its 46th year, the summer event is run by Burnham-On-Sea Art Club and allows the work of 90 artists to go on show.
Organiser Dilly Hanson told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “There’s a wide range of art on show this year, ranging from water colours and oil paintings, to drawings. Everything on show here has been created by local artists.”
“We’re expecting a busy week and it’s already got off to a busy start with six paintings sold during the first morning.”
