A man was assaulted and robbed of his valuables during an early morning attack at a holiday park in Burnham-On-Sea at the weekend.
Police were called to Burnham Holiday Village following the incident at 1.20am on Sunday (November 21st) in which a 40 year-old man was allegedly attacked by two men.
Inspector Roger Tolley told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The man was walking back to his caravan when he was assaulted by two young men.”
“The men demanded money and a scuffle occurred. He suffered some injuries, which were fortunately not serious, before his money, a mobile phone and cigarettes were stolen. The men then ran off.”
