One person was taken to hospital after a crash near Burnham-On-Sea on Wednesday (February 17th).
Police, ambulance and fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea were called to the A370 Bridgwater Road at Lympsham shortly after 1.15pm.
“Two fire appliances from Burnham and Bridgwater, together with a rescue tender from Taunton, were mobilised following a request from the ambulance for assistance to a two-vehicle collision,” said a spokesman.
“Crews confirmed that a female casualty had been helped to a road ambulance and later taken to hospital as a precaution.”
“There were no other persons trapped or within, so crews made the vehicles safe, before leaving duty of care with both the ambulance and police.”
