Officers were called to College Street, as pictured, after the man collapsed and died at Burnham Methodist Church Hall, where a charity coffee morning was taking place.
Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
Shocked organisers of the coffee morning, which was being held in aid of the RNLI, are re-scheduling the event for later in December.
