A swimmer from Highbridge who will be heading to the Olympic Trials next month is celebrating success after winning gold in the Somerset County Championships.
Chloe Edrich, 16, took Gold in the 50m Breaststroke and also took the senior record.
She was also part of the Girls Medley Relay team, which also won the gold and she also went on to win the girls 200m breaststroke championship.
Her haul also included six silver medals in the relays and individual events and three bronze medals. Chloe also swam in five other events and achieved many personal best times.
“Chloe is looking forward to April now when she will be flying to Glasgow to compete in the Olympic Trials. I’m very proud of her,” her mum Kelly told Burnham-On-Sea.com this week.
