Police were called to a Burnham-On-Sea home in the early hours of Sunday morning (February 21st) after a resident reported hearing gun shots outside.
Officers were called to Heal Close just before 1am when the home owner raised the alarm.
“We were called at 12.47am on Sunday by a member of the public who had reported shots being fired,” said police spokesman Craig Evry.
“Officers attended and carried out enquiries, but no damage was found and we were unable to confirm whether a firearm had been discharged.”
