The eighth annual Berrow Classical Chamber Music Festival is set to get underway later this month at the village’s picturesque St Mary’s Church.
A series of three evening concerts will be performed by members of Goya between September 21st and 23rd.
The festival starts on the Thursday with Bach’s Cello Suite No.2 and Daunais Songs followed by Telemann Recorder Sonata and Shostakovich Quartet Opus 49.
Friday’s line-up features Telemann Two Sonatas for two violins, Achron Hebrew Melody, Piazzolla Histoire du Tango and Quate Light of Sothis for Saxophone and Piano Mozart Divertimento KV563 for string trio.
The final evening, on Saturday September 23rd, includes the Turina Circulo, Mozart Klavierkonzert KV449, Shostakovich Duos, and Beethoven Quartet Op 135.
Admission for each evening costs £7, with tickets available on the door or by email in advance. A festival pass, costing £15, is also available which gives entry to all three concerts. Under 16s are free. Each evening starts at 7.30pm.
