National Trust to hold open evening at Brean Down cafe

-

A Christmas open evening will be held at Brean Cove Café on Tuesday (December 14th) when the public will be able to hear about the National Trust’s plans for the area.

The National Trust’s Somerset Countryside team will be on hand to discuss the plans with members of the public over a free mince pies and a glass of mulled wine. St Mary’s Church Choir will also be in attendance to add to the Christmas spirit.

The informal event, running from 6pm-8pm, will give people an opportunity to discuss issues that matter both at Brean Down and the café itself.

Tamsin Mosse, the Trust’s Outdoor Experience Manager in Somerset Countryside, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We recently took over the café at Brean Down and are keen to involve the local community as much as possible.”

“We would like to hear more about the issues that we need to consider and also welcome the chance to explain what we have planned for the coming year. We are looking forward to meeting as many people as possible and beginning this process with a festive and informal open evening.”

Burnham-On-Sea.com first reported here that the National Trust had taken over Brean Cove Café.
