A motorist has been arrested by police following a crash at the weekend near Burnham-On-Sea.
A car overturned on a bend of the A370 in East Brent on Saturday afternoon (March 6th), as reported here.
A Burnham Police spokesperson told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The 38 year-old driver of the Vauxhall Corsa, who is from Bridgwater, has been arrested.”
“He has charged with driving while disqualified and driving without insurance, and has been bailed to appear before Taunton Magistrates later in March.”
Fire crews were called to the A370 shortly after 3.30pm where the driver lost control of the vehicle. The busy route was temporarily closed following the incident.
