Firefighters were called to a farmyard blaze on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea on Thursday evening (March 10th).
One fire engine was sent to Collin’s Farm in Sloway Lane, West Huntspill, at 5.30pm, as pictured here, after plumes of smoke were visible for miles around, including by motorists on the M5.
Eyewitness Jason Bell told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A large pile of pallets was being burnt at the farm when the wind got up and set some tyres nearby alight.”
Firefighters quickly brought the fire under controll and damped it down.
