Residents in Burnham-On-Sea woke to a white Christmas for the first time in many years.
These were the icy scenes along The Esplanade on Christmas Day captured on Burnham-On-Sea.com’s seafront webcam.
A week of sub-zero temperatures meant last weekend’s snowfall had not melted away, leaving the town under a coating of the white stuff.
Temperatures in the town dipped to a chilly -12 degrees Centigrade overnight into Boxing Day, but a thaw is forecast for the next few days.
