TV character Sooty will open Berrow Church’s summer fete on Saturday afternoon (August 24th).
Childrens ITV entertainer Richard Cadell and Sooty will be the VIP guests at the annual event at St Mary’s Church.
“Sooty will be there from 12.30pm , meeting and greeting families. He will then open the fete at 1pm,” an organiser told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Burnham’s Monarchs Gymnastic Team and local magician Luke Perry will also be performing and there will be a number of fun-filled traditional games and attractions.
“It promises to be a really good, fun afternoon for the family, with free admission for all.”
