Continental market to be held on Burnham seafront on Sunday

-

Burnham-On-Sea residents will be able to stock up on continental food when an outdoor French market comes to the town on Sunday (November 5th).

Fourteen stalls will be set up on the seafront from 10am to 4.30pm selling a wide range of continental items, ahead of the annual seafront fireworks display at 7pm and a concert in the Princess Hall at 8pm.

Organiser and Town Centre Manager Anne-Marie Spalding said: “Among the items on sale will be foods such as chocolate, cheeses, sausages, garlic, olives, jams, mustards, bread and cakes, plus crafts and clothes including wooden roses, jewelry, leather goods and perfumes. There should be something for everyone!”

A three-day continental market held on the seafront during July – when foods and crafts were again on sale – was a great success, attracting plenty of visitors.
