Highbridge residents invited to have their say on police issues

-

Highbridge residents will be able to have their say about policing in the town when a quarterly Partners and Communities Together (PACT) meeting is held this evening (Thursday, January 20th).

PACT meetings give local residents a chance to influence what happens in their neighbourhood and the next meeting will be held at 7.30pm in the St John Ambulance Hall in Bank Street Car Park.

Street drinking and parking in Walrow, Market Street and Coronation Road were the top two priorities set by residents at the last Highbridge meeting last year.

A police spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The Highbridge Neighbourhood Team is dedicated to making your community safer and stronger by finding local solutions to local problems.”

“Please support us in this by taking the time to speak to us about community concerns, their causes and possible solutions. It is only by all working together that we can make a difference.”
