A director at a Burnham-On-Sea financial advice firm is celebrating this week after being awarded the prestigious title of ‘Chartered Financial Planner’ by the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Alex Turco, 31, of Positive Wealth Creation, which is based in Victoria Street, has passed thirteen exams in the last decade since completing his degree from Oxford University to achieve the advanced diploma in financial planning. This forms part of a suite of qualifications equivalent to the level of a bachelor degree.
Alex said: “I am thrilled to have earned Chartered Financial Planner status. Alex specialises in providing financial advice to individuals, trustees, attorneys and business owners regarding investments, retirement planning and tax mitigation.
Alex, a former Chairman of Burnham Chamber of Trade, is one of the firm’s shareholders and directors. The managing director, Mrs Jenni Turco, also holds the Chartered Financial Planner title.
