Burnham-On-Sea was in the national spotlight on Friday morning (December 8th) when a cul-de-sac’s Christmas lights were mentioned during ITV’s breakfast programme.
This year’s display of lights at Trinity Rise were featured by GMTV during a feature on festive decorations.
Presenter Ben Shephard, pictured right, mentioned how “impressive” the lights were and also explained how money raised from the lights display would be going to BARB, BIBIC and the Somerset Children’s Hospice.
It’s not the first time the Trinity Rise residents have been featured on GMTV. In December 2004, the programme broadcast live from the street when residents entered GMTV’s ‘Best-Dressed Christmas House Lights’ competition.
