Police have arrested a motorist on suspicion of drink driving after an accident near Burnham-On-Sea early on Sunday morning (September 8th).
Police were called when the Ford Fiesta pictured here slammed into a lighting column on the Edithmead roundabout besides Burnham’s M5 motorway junction.
“Police were called at 1.40am and a female from Bristol was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. She was treated for minor injuries,” a police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
