A new shop is set to open in the centre of Burnham-On-Sea next month in place of a former dry cleaner.
The vacant premises at 53 The High Street, on the corner of Cross Street, is to be replaced by a Children’s Society shop.
Children’s Society spokesman Gemma Mahon told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are delighted to be opening a brand new store in Burnham this October which will be among our chain of 80 shops across the UK which raise money to help support disadvantaged children.”
The prominent premises had been available to let since Johnsons Dry Cleaners closed its Burnham store in August 2012, as reported here.
