Hundreds of excited pupils from a Highbridge school gathered in Burnham-On-Sea’s cinema this week for a special end-of-term treat.
The 200 youngsters from St John’s School filled both screens at the Ritz Cinema in Victoria Street on Tuesday (December 19th) as they enjoyed screenings of current smash hits Happy Feet and Santa Clause 3.
Cinema owner Pat Scott is pictured welcoming Headteacher David Penney and teacher Sue Meads as the VIP screenings got underway.
Pat told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a great morning that added to the childrens’ excitement in the build up to Christmas. They’ve been looking forward to this for some time!”
