Tickets have gone on sale this week for a fundraising event to help Burnham’s ambulance station upgrade some of its specialist equipment.
The race night will be held on January 27th at Lakeside in Westfield Road and aims to raise £3,000 to upgrade stethoscopes and other equipment used by Burnham paramedics.
The event is being co-ordinated by Tom Ashton, pictured above, with organisers Burnham Lions Club and the Burnham Community Medical Equipment Fund.
“A cabaret, Irish bingo and a charity auction are being held alongside the race night so it should be a really fun eveing,” Tom told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
