Police say discovery of Highbridge man’s body is ‘not suspicious’

-

Police say the discovery of the body of a man at his Highbridge home earlier this week is not being treated as suspicious.

Officers were called to Kennedy Close at 4pm on Thursday afternoon (February 3rd) amid concern for the welfare of the man inside.

Police spokesman Simon Whitby told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Police were alerted by the concerned neighbours of the man, who had not seen him for some time.”

“The body of the man, who was in his 60s, was found at the property by officers, but the death is not being treated as suspicious.”

He added that the West Somerset coroner had been informed.
