Burnham-On-Sea property prices predicted to show further gains in 2007
Burnham-On-Sea’s property prices are predicted to show further increases during 2007, according to a report by a leading UK property price forecaster.
Technical Forecasts Ltd believes the cost of homes in both of Burnham’s postcode areas ‘TA8 1’ and ‘TA8 2’ will rise again this year, with detatched homes showing the steepest increase.
The company predicts the average cost of a detatched home in ‘TA8 1’ will be £239,070 by the end of 2007 (an increase of almost £9,000 on the year), while semis will average £180,001 (a jump of around £6,000).
It believes terraced homes will cost an average of £148,052, rising from the current £143,185, while flats and maisonettes are tipped to show the smallest increase, rising from £113,137 to £116,416.
Meanwhile in the ‘TA8 2’ postcode area, the average cost of detatched properties is predicted to rise from £279,318 to £286,584 (a jump of approx £7,000).
Semis will rise from £192,803 to £195,378 and terraced dwellings will jump from £145,382 to £148,033. The cost of flats and maisonettes will rise from £108,060 to £109,616.
