A Gloucestershire couple who won £2.4million on the National Lottery last weekend are set to splash out on a new caravan in Burnham-On-Sea!
Retired council groundsman Bryan Crook, 65, and partner Janice Giles, 69, scooped the top lottery prize last weekend, along with another £1,331 by matching five numbers in the same draw.
But the pair, who live in Stroud in Gloucestershire, insist they will not be splashing out and say they are considering buying a new bungalow plus a caravan in their favourite holiday spot of Burnham.
Janice said: “The Mediterranean doesn’t interest us – we’ve been going to Burnham foir years and it’s a lovely place.”
“I’ve never been one to show off, but having this windfall will let us take time out to enjoy some fresh sea air and let the news sink in. Everyone is over the moon.”
