A parade of bikes will be headed by the flags of all participants and will arrive in Burnham-On-Sea around 12 noon, riding through the High Street on its way to the South Esplanade to park up until after 3pm.

Mick Collins, one of the organisers from the Bridgwater Hog, told Burnham-On-Sea.com : “Every year we hold our chapter rally – ‘The Cider Rally’ – which is the first event of the year on the calendar and is well supported with many guests coming fro mainland Europe.”

“This event was first held in 1990 and has been held at various venues, but is now resident at Sand Bay holiday complex near Weston.”

“We take over the entire site for four days at the beginning of May and each year the event is sold out well in advance.”

“H.O.G. members come to party, meet old friends and make new ones. We always have a grand parade and this year we are bringing it to Burnham.”

“The parade will be headed by the Flags of all participants and will arrive in Burnham-On-Sea around 12 noon, riding through the High Street on its way to the South Esplanade to park up.”

“There will also be a Custom Bike show outside the Bay View Café. The Mayor will present a trophy for his choice at 3pm and further trophies will be presented later.”

Organised by Bridgwater Hog UK, the group was formed in 1989 and are the second oldest chapter in Europe. Following the formation of the club in 1989, the first meeting was held at the Crossways Inn in West Huntspill near Bridgwater in February 1990.

Since the chapter was formed they have taken part in many amazing events and members have attended H.O.G. rallies all over the world from Australia to the U.S.A. including many in Europe and all over the UK.
