The winners of an annual competition to find odd items in Burnham-On-Sea shop windows have been announced.
Organised by Burnham’s Chamber Of Trade, the annual competition to ‘spot the odd item in the shop window’ ran over the recent Easter holidays.
A record number of 50 town centre businesses put items that they don’t usually sell in their windows or online and the public were invited to find as many of them as possible.
First prize of £100 cash went to Abdelrahim children while the two £25 runners-up prizes went to Megan Carpenter and Emma Mahoney.
“Our thanks go to everyone who entered,” said a Chamber spokesman. “Hundreds of people took part in the competition, which is always a lot of fun and attracts visitors into our town centre.”
“The Chamber believes Burnham has a great range of independent shops and the competition encourages people to explore our town’s shops the town centre.”
