An air ambulance touched down at Burnham-On-Sea’s BASC sports ground at the weekend to fly a cardiac arrest patient to hospital.
The green helicopter operated by Great Western Air Ambulance landed on the playing fields near the entrance to the BASC Ground, as pictured here.
A Great Western Air Ambulance spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called to an elderly gentleman, a cardiac arrest patient, who was taken to Bristol Royal Infirmary.”
The helicopter landed at around 5pm on Saturday before taking a patient onboard.
