Two-vehicle crash in Burnham-On-Sea causes delays to motorists

Motorists faced long delays into Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (October 12th) after a two-car crash.

Two vehicles collided in Queen’s Drive at 12.15pm, causing lengthy tailbacks to traffic heading into Burnham from the M5 motorway.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police told Burnham-On-Sea.com that there had been no serious injuries in the accident.

“Police were called to a two vehicle collision at around 12.15pm in which there were no injuries,” he said.

“Traffic backed up to Edithmead while police were on the scene and recovery of the vehicles went ahead.”
