Highbridge Pancake Party raises a tasty amount for charity

-

More than £170 was raised for a local charity when fundraisers in Highbridge held a Pancake Party on Tuesday (March 8th).

Dozens of freshly made pancakes were munched during the successful event at the home of Val Breach in Church Street in aid of St Margaret’s Hospice.

“Val is wonderful – such a kind and charitable lady and a total of £178 was raised, which is fantastic,” St Margaret’s Hospice fundraiser Julie Draper told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“So many people attended and in fact there wasn’t a seat free. On offer were delicious pancakes, cakes, hot drinks and a bring and buy.”
