Residents of all ages in Brent Knoll are holding their annual scarecrow festival this weekend.
The popular event will see more than 60 scarecrows featuring well-known stars from the movie world installed alongside roads in the village.

Leader Jane Sinnott said: “We have had an absolutely fantastic response from the village with so much enthusiasm being shown and it promises to be a great festival.”
The festival is being held on Saturday October 19th and Sunday October 20th from 10am-4pm each day. Trail sheets are available from Brent Knoll Post Office and hair By Design.
“We hope lots of visitors will enjoy walking, cycling or driving around the village to find the scarecrows and play the scarecrow bingo trail,” said an organiser.
Refreshments will be available both days from 10am-4pm at Brent Knoll Parish Hall and trail sheets and frree maps are available.
