Burnham-On-Sea fire crews were called to tackle a digger blaze near Highbridge on Wednesday (June 1st).
Fire appliances from Burnham-On-Sea and Cheddar were sent to the incident in Church Street, Mark at mid-day.
“Crews confirmed a fire had taken place but it was extinguished prior to their arrival. They used a hose reel jet to cool the digger,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
The cause of the fire was accidental, said the fire service.
