Dozens of colourful photos went on display when Burnham-On-Sea Camera Club held its eighth annual exhibition on Saturday (June 11th).
The club’s members held their display of photographs in Burnham’s Baptist Church in College Street where a steady flow of visitors dropped in through the day – including the town’s Mayor and Mayoress.
Camera Club Chairman Mike Lang told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The club greeted over 120 members of the public during Saturday’s show, many of whom left positive comments in our visitors’ book.”
The award for best in show went to a photograph of a Fox in a Tree by member David Williams, voted for by a huge majority.
Mike added: “The standard of exhibits was again superb, and even higher than last year.”
“We are a friendly club, and anyone is welcome to join, at any level.”
Committee member Tim Donovan added: “All who came to support saw some very talented photographers, all of whom had put in a lot of time and effort.”
For anyone interested in becoming part of this friendly camera club, they meet at the Bay Centre every Tuesday between 7.15pm-9.15pm.
