Repairs get underway at Pontins in Brean after lorry accident

-

Repair work will get underway shortly at Pontins holiday centre in Brean, near Burnham-On-Sea, after a lorry crashed into the front entrance at the resort.

The main front gates and a lamp post were damaged, as pictured, during the collision.

A Pontins spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “An accident involving an articulated lorry caused damage at the entrance to the Brean Sands Holiday Centre.”

“As the gate has to be specially constructed and coated and the matter also has to be cleared by the insurers, this can take some weeks. It is anticipated, however, that the new gate will be ready and in place by the end of next week.”
