A Burnham-On-Sea rock group filmed a music video on the town’s seafront on Sunday morning (April 3rd), which will accompany a new charity song being released in aid of two local good causes.
The Ginger Hitlas performed their new single, Hey Little Lady, which is due to be launched later this month in aid of The Friends of Burnham Memorial Hospital and BARB.
Filming was held on The Esplanade on Sunday morning, as pictured, and featured a small crowd of supporters, who were encouraged to join in.
Andy Hills, one of the Ginger Hitlas, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The filming went really well – it looked and sounded great. We’ve had a lot of support for this charity release and are very grateful for everyone’s help.”
The song has been written by local songwriter Trajan J Trathan and is scheduled to be released over the next few weeks and be available for download via iTunes.
The release is also being backed by Burnham’s Mayor and Mayoress, Michael and Maria Clarke, who both appear on the CD artwork and who picked The Friends Of Burnham Hospital and BARB as their two official charities of the year.
The song will be performed during the Mayor’s Right Royal Do, which is being held outside Burnham’s Victoria Hotel on April 30th, the day after the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
