Members of Burnham-On-Sea’s Rotary Club and Army Cadet Force have carried out a litter-pick and a bulb planting session in the town this week.
The litter licking sesion was held along Queen’s Drive and daffodil bulb planting took place in the nearby Frank Foley Parkway on Sunday, as pictured here.
Rotary Organiser Mike Young told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We cleared several bags of rubbish and planted a large sack of bulbs provided by Sedgemoor District Council.”
He added: “It was great to have the support of six members of the Army Cadet Force from the Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Platoon, led by Lieutenant Kat Dee.”
Burnham Rotary Club meets on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm at Burnham & Berrow Golf Club in Burnham’s St Christopher’s Way and welcomes new members (male and female). For more information about the club, click here.
