These were the scenes on Burnham-On-Sea beach on Friday morning (April 6th) when a car became trapped in soft sand.
Several locals rushed to the aid of the stricken car driver after the vehicle, which had been used to tow a jet ski and trailer onto the beach, sank into the soft sand with the waves lapping close nearby.
Fortunately, the car was pushed free at around 9.30am and an expensive start to the Easter weekend was averted!
