New hair salon opened in Burnham-On-Sea town centre by Mayor

-

Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor cut a ribbon to officially open a new hair salon in the town on Wednesday (November 20th).

The new business, called Freshair, opened in Victoria Street and specialises in wedding and special occasion hair and make-up.

Lucinda Plimley, the salon’s owner, stylist and beautician, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Freshair is a new and fresh salon with a bubbly, but laid back, atmosphere to ensure upmost relaxation!”

“We offer a wide range of services including hair ups, manicures, spray tanning, haircuts and more.”

Mayor Martin Cox cut a ribbon outside the shop, watched by supporters and supported by Burnham’s Chamber of Trade.

“We are very lucky in Burnham to have a vibrant town centre with many varied shops and, unlike other towns, we rarely see shops with their shutters down,” said the Mayor.

“Today we have another reason to put Burnham on the map with this new hair salon and I congratulate the owner Lucinda and everyone involved for the hard work they have put into getting it ready for opening.”
