Vandalism and anti-social behaviour have led to the closure of a block of public toilets in Burnham-On-Sea.
The building in Seaview Road, pictured, was shut by owners Sedgemoor District Council in April following a spate of problems, leaving a question mark over the future of the premises.
Council spokeswoman Claire Faun told Burnham-On-Sea.com this week: “The building has been temporarily closed because of anti-social behaviour and vandalism. It’s uncertain when it will be re-opened again.”
“Unfortunately, these toilets are tucked away in a secluded location and have attracted problems.”
A sign outside the building (pictured) points users to other public toilets in the town such as those at Crosses Penn near Manor Gardens, at the Yacht Club, and next to the Tourist Information Centre.
