A Burnham-On-Sea hairdresser is the latest business in the town left counting the cost of crime after a vandal damaged its shopfront at the weekend.
One man was taken into custody after a window was smashed at Central Hair Studio in Abingdon Street at 1.30am on Saturday (August 11th), as pictured here.
Staff member Becky Tipton told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Our front window was smashed and the wood frame around it was also badly damaged.”
“Fortunately, nothing was stolen, but the repairs to the damage will cost us more than £100.”
Police spokesman Ian Drury confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com that one man had been arrested over the incident.
“One person was taken into custody by officers and later charged with criminal damage,” he said.
