The occupants of this 4×4 were lucky to escape injury this afternoon (Tuesday, April 26th) after their vehicle careered into a ditch at Brean.

Burnham-On-Sea Police were called to Ham Road just after 1pm when the 4×4 left the road and was reported to be on its side, as pictured here.

A driver and a passenger inside managed to scramble out of the vehicle without injury.

Police spokeswoman Cath Foster told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Police were called to Ham Road at 1.08pm after a 4×4 left the road and went into a hedge. No-one was injured, but the road was temporarily partially blocked while emergency services were at the scene.”
