Royal wedding fever sweeps Burnham-On-Sea town centre

-

Businesses across Burnham-On-Sea are getting into the Royal wedding spirit by decorating their shopfronts.

Flags, banners, bunting and even a wedding dress have appeared in the windows this week ahead of Friday’s wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Burnham-On-Sea Chamber Of Trade Chairman Rhonda Mills told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It’s great to see so many businesses in Burnham entering into the spirit of the occasion by decorating their windows to mark the big day.”

She added that dozens of entries have already been received for Burnham Chamber of Trade’s wedding-themed shop window competition, which Burnham-On-Sea.com featured here.

She said: “We’ve received a good number of entries, but there’s still time to enter and be in with a chance of winning the £100 prize. The entries need to be handed in to those shops shown on the entry form by 5pm this Friday. They can also be posted through letterboxes if the shop is closed.”
