Burnham-On-Sea’s Moose Lodge formerly appointed a new Governor to lead the group over the coming year on Thursday night (April 28th).
Arthur Thorogood was installed during the group’s lodge meeting held in Berrow Village Hall.
Arthur has taken over from Eric Gill who has been in the position over the past two years.
Former Burnham and Highbridge Mayor Eric Gill suffered a heart attack last autumn, but is making a speedy recovery.
Arthur, who is stepping down from his role as a Burnham town councillor at next week’s elections, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I’m delighted to be appointed Moose Governor and am looking forward to a busy year ahead.”
