A new reservoir could soon be built on the slopes of Brent Knoll if new proposals unveiled this week get the go-ahead.
Bristol Water has applied to Sedgemoor District Council for full planning permission to construct a covered storage reservoir with associated external works.
The firm wants to build it on land to the west of The Knoll in Hill Lane, Brent Knoll.
The application has just been lodged and local residents have until May 31st to submit their feedback to the district council’s planning department. The Planning Application Number is 07/11/00015.
