Arranged by local churches, the event raised £227 for The Grace School and Orphanage in South Africa.

David Bracey, of Burnham Baptist Church, gave a brief introduction on the work of the charity and after the film he answered questions from the audience.

The evening was arranged by the local churches in conjunction with Pat Scott, from The Ritz Cinema who kindly hosted the evening at no cost.

Reverend Steve Ayers of Burnham Baptist Church said was very pleased with the event.

He told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “As well as it being an enjoyable evening watching the film, it gave us the opportunity to hear from David about the real-life situation of children in Africa.”
