A BBC film crew visited Brean beach on Friday (August 5th) to film an episode of a popular daytime show.
The BBC1 programme ‘Escape To The Country’ visited Brean Land Yacht Club to film a segment to appear in a future episode.
Martyn Hale, club chairman, was interviewed about the history of the club and land yachting.
Presenter Jonnie Irwin then had a go in a land yacht and really enjoyed it, so much so it was difficult to get him out of the yacht!
The episode is due to be broadcast later in the year. The show helps prospective buyers find their dream home in the country, focussing on those who want to swap city living for a rural or coastal home.
