A new fruit and veg shop has opened its doors in Burnham-On-Sea this week.
‘Fabulous Fruit And Veg’ has opened in College Street, replacing the off-license Brooks And Sons, which shut down earlier this year.
The new business is being run by Debbie Gazzard and Mandy Shute, both from Burnham.
Debbie told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We’ve had massive support for opening this new shop – it’s a facility that the town badly needs.”
“There hasn’t been a proper greengrocer here since Sanders closed down many years ago.”
She added: “We’re selling locally-grown produce where possible, with a wide range of fresh fruit and veg, plus olives, oils, herbs and spices, plus kitchen equipment.”
