Over 380 exhibits including 28 vintage, classic and sport motor bikes went on show last weekend at the Mark Moor International Vehicle Festival.
Among the vehicles was a replica World War 2 camp with Willys Jeeps, field guns, rifle stacks and a tent.
‘Ernie’, an ex-Gatwick Aviation Museum Fire Engine, also was on display with its water cannon mounted on the roof.
Many American hot rods and super-cars dazzled the public as they glided into the show field.
Over 25 stalls, ranging from automobilia to craft goods, were also available for all the family. The ‘Bubble’ man provided children with a superb display of large bubbles, while a digital Scalextric display provided an opportunity for budding ‘Jenson Buttons’ to try their hand in achieving the fastest lap.
Organiser Bruce Penrose said he’s been delighted with how the event went. “It is the biggest fund raiser in the village. We call on friends & family to help make the event such a success and thank everyone who gave their support,” he said.
