Comedy film screening in Burnham-On-Sea will help town festival

-

A film is to be screened at Burnham-On-Sea’s cinema later this month to raise funds for a popular Highbridge event.

The Highbridge Festival Of The Arts will benefit from a special matinee screening of Quartet at the Ritz Cinema in Victoria Street.

After previous screenings of Mamma Mia and the Best Marigold Hotel, we are delighted to be holding another special film screening and by kind permission of The Ritz Cinema, it will be Quartet,” a spokesman for the festival told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“This is an excellent comedy starring Billy Connelly, Maggie Smith and Pauline Collins.”

“The film screening always proves to be very popular and is one of our biggest fundraising events of the year so we would urge people to book their tickets early.”

The film will be shown on Monday 27th January with doors opening at 2pm. Tickets, costing £5, are available from The Ritz or Jenny Golding on 01278 785465.

2014 will be the 67th Festival of the Arts, which will be held from 6-15 March.
