Discount retailer B&M has today confirmed that its new store in Burnham-On-Sea will open on September 22nd.
The new store in Pier Street, which replaces the former Morrisons store, will create more than 60 new jobs.
The new store will open its doors for the first time on Thursday 22nd September at 9am.
“Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded and own label products including toys, food & drink, pet products and health & beauty,” said a B&M spokesman.
“We’re feeling really positive about the creation of new jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”
“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door in a few weeks.”

Many shops in Burnham-On-Sea’s town centre are concerned that the opening of B&M will adversely hit their business, a point that B&M has previously disputed by saying that its stores boost actually footfall in the surrounding area.
