The 90th anniversary of the Royal British Legion was marked in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (11th June) by the town’s Mayor, Mayoress and supporters of the group.
A special event was held at the Legion’s Burnham HQ in Victoria Street, as pictured, to mark the milestone.
Mayor Michael Clarke told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a wonderful occasion. There was a super turnout of people and some really interesting exhibits were on display.”
Several cars and bikes from the 1940s and 1950s went on show outside the HQ, in addition to wartime memorabilia inside.
