Volunteers at Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat station are holding their annual fundraising car wash today (Saturday, February 1st).
Burnham RNLI volunteers are preparing to don their dry-suits for the popular ‘Soap Our Saloons’ event between 10am and 2pm.
Each car will be carefully soaped using professional car wash chemicals and cleaning materials, before being rinsed to achieve a perfect finish as part of the RNLI’s national fundraising event, SOS Day.
Payment will be by donation, and all money raised will go towards equipping and launching the lifeboats.
Lifeboat Operations Manager Matt Davies said: “We are good at what we do, and your car will be given individual attention, so pay us a visit on 1st February.”
